The launch of Nokia N Series has been largely responsible in changing our viewpoint about mobile phones. A mobile phone now is not just about making calls as it was a couple of years back. The ‘multimedia computers’ of the N Series wields immense imaging and musical power other than voice connectivity and 3G. The Nokia N93 share the apex of the N series family with another powerhouse, the Nokia N95.

Known for its outstanding photographic capabilities, the Nokia N93 have taken the mobile world with a storm and given a tough time to other manufacturers. Resolution wise, the 3.2 megapixel camera and its 3G capabilities are matched by the Sony Ericsson K800i, but the DVD like video recording ability of the Nokia N93 set itself above any further competition.

The N93 has a twist-and-flip design that can be moved into four different positions: closed, open for talking, a camera mode and a viewing mode. The phone is on the heavier side with 180 gm, however considering it is a 3G phone ‘plus’ a fully evolved digital-camcorder, the gizmo is very handy.

Camera module of the Nokia N93 is powered with world renowned Carl Zeiss optics. Like any top of the line digital camera, the Nokia N93 features 3x optical zoom that retains the sharpness of an image unlike digital zoom incorporated in other camera phones. It is equipped with autofocus, flash, timer, multi-shot, special effects and everything you can imagine in a camera phone. The camera shoots video at 30 frames per second which is double of 15 frames per second norm of present day camera phones – thus produces sharpest of videos.

This 3G phone operates on Symbian OS and includes almost all bells and whistles you can think of in a smartphone.
