Fancy a mobile call from the top of the world?

Now it is possible!  British climber Rod Baber has done it with a Motorola  MOTO Z8 mobile handset from Mount Everest. He made two voice call as well as one SMS. The text message that was sent read as follows: “One small text for man, one giant leap for mobilekind – thanks Motorola”

“Everest symbolises the greatest challenge to any climber. To reach the summit and achieve world records with Motorola is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”, said Mr Baber from Everest Base Camp.
